Stella Lee Reven , 88, of Kingsland, formerly of Lamesa, passed away April 1, 2015. She was born to S.L. and Willie (Briggs) Stephens on Aug. 31, 1926, in Idalou, Texas.

Stella married Clinton Reven on March 17, 1946, in Ruidoso, New Mexico. She made a career as a bookkeeper and a housewife.

She was known for her love of family, home cooking and her famous homemade yeast rolls. She was a strong Christian and a devout wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Clinton of Kingsland; son Larry and wife Betty of Kingsland; two grandsons, Dan and wife Cristal and Randy and wife Gena, all of Kingsland; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann Kidd of Lubbock; two brothers Don Stephens and wife Donnie and Shirley Stephens and wife Margaret, all of Lamesa; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by son Jerry Reven and brother S.L. Stephens.

A funeral service was April 3 at Kingsland Community Church with Pastor Dick West presiding. Interment followed at Llano City Cemeter. Pallbearers were Dan Reven, Randy Reven, Lance Reven and Justin Reven.
