Jimmy Steve Marlow, 75, of Buchanan Dam died March 31, 2015

Jimmy Steve Marlow was called home March 31, 2015, at age 75. He was born Dec. 30, 1939, to Oscar and Margorie Marlow in Margaret, Texas, and lived and went to school in Foard and Hardeman counties.
After moving to Granbury, Texas, he met and married Annie. They were married 28 years and enjoyed music, traveling, working and life. They lived in the Marble Falls and Kingsland areas for 20 years.
He worked at Sutherlands for several years and then became a handyman. He was very active in the the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 4303 as chaplin, trustee and Friday night cook. He was a member of Cross & Spurs Cowboy Church in Buchanan Dam.
He has many friends and family members and treasured each one of them.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Hazel and Letha; four brothers, Cloyce “Tukie”, Clinton “Scoot”, Oscar Keith “Butch” and Bill; and four nephews Joe Ray, Dale, Dean and Monte.
His surviving loved ones are his wife, Annie; Anita Marlow Holtzinger; sister-in-law Jetta; two sons, Dewayne and Bryan; daughter, Calena; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two adopted great-grandsons; and two stepdaughters, Teresa “Trixie” and Maura “Mauri”.
Memorial services are 10 a.m. April 11 at Cross & Spurs Cowboy Church, 100 Lillian Dean Drive in Buchanan Dam; and 1 p.m. April 11 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 4303, located at 6931 RR 1431 West in Granite Shoals.
