KINGSLAND — As the weather warms, thoughts are turning to gardening. One of the challenges gardeners face is whether a particular plant or plant variety can take the Highland Lakes summer.
Fortunately, you can get some good advice and great plants April 4 during the annual Kingsland Garden Club plant sale. Garden club members will be offering lots of home-grown Hill Country plants at very reasonable prices.
Club officials recommend people get there early for the best selection.
The sale is 10 a.m-4 p.m. and is part of the Kingsland House of Arts and Crafts spring sale. The arts and crafts sale is behind Wells Fargo Bank on Chamberlain Street.
The Kingsland Garden Club will set up on the east side of the arts and crafts grounds.
The club will also be accepting four-inch to one-gallon pots that members will recycle.
