Elizabeth Lamb, 91, of Round Mountain, Texas, passed away Dec. 19, 2014. She was born in Alief, Texas, on Oct. 9, 1923, to William Fred and Lillian Minnie Marek Schneider and was one of nine children.
Elizabeth was a nurse and met her husband, Abe Lamb, while he was in the hospital. Although she was a fabulous cook, known for her kolaches and as the owner of two restaurants, she was humble about her cooking.
She was a longtime member of Spicewood Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Abe Lamb; parents; siblings; and four great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Don and Margaret Lamb, Bill and Sandra Lamb and Beverly and Butch Rosenbaum; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Dec. 22 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373. A memorial service is 10 a.m. Dec. 23 at Spicewood Baptist Church in Spicewood. Burial will follow at Haynie Flats Cemetery.
