Players needed for benefit golf tournament Nov. 15 in Kingsland

KINGSLAND — Players are needed for the Robert Kent Benefit Golf Tournament on Nov. 15.

The tournament is noon at the Lighthouse Country Club, 118 Club Circle in Kingsland.

Kent, a longtime friend of Lighthouse golf pro Chase Watson, was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer in June. He and his family relocated to Central Texas from San Angelo for treatment. He worked at the San Angelo Country Club.

Cost to play in the four-person scramble is $100 per golfer and includes a hamburger buffet at 4:30 p.m. Ben Watson and the Hired Guns will perform live after the dinner and awards.

Hole sponsorships are available at $200 each, while hole sponsorship with a team is $500.
