Timothy “Timmy” Ray Dixon, 56, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 26, 2014. He was born June 17, 1958, in Georgetown, Texas.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Houston and Doris Murlene Dixon, and brother Ricky Dixon.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Joanne Dixon; daughter, Taylor Dixon; brother Buster Dixon and wife Evie of Kempner and Gary Dixon of Marble Falls; sister, Shirley Dixon of Marble Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tim attended Lampasas High School and graduated in 1976. He was the owner of Mustang Electric in Marble Falls.

He was a very loving and devoted husband and father, who loved spending time with family and friends. He was a huge Texas Longhorns fan. As Tim would say, “I bleed orange!” He loved to travel and scuba dive in his spare time.

He will always be remembered for his warm, down-to-earth personality, sense of humor and a smile that allowed him to make many, lifelong friends wherever he went.

“There won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t miss you.”

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sept. 30 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373. A service is 11 a.m. Oct. 1 at First Baptist Church in Marble Falls. Burial will follow at Kempner Cemetery in Kempner.
