OBITUARY: Clayton Sanford Hunt, 73, of Tow dies Sept. 4, 2014

Clayton Sanford Hunt, 73, of Tow, Texas, passed away in Round Rock, Texas, on Sept. 4, 2014. Clayton was born in Port Arthur, Texas, on Oct. 11, 1940, to Alta Mae and Hobart Hunt.
He grew up in Georgetown, Texas, where he graduated from Georgetown High School.
Clayton had a gift for communicating with people, which served him well during his career in sales and public relations. He worked first for Rainbo Bakery as a special accounts manager before joining Del-Papa Distributing Co., a division of Anheuser-Busch, where he rose to the position of vice-president for Business Development before retiring March 15, 2001.
Clayton was an avid sports fan, loved to fish and golf, was a member of the board of directors of the Brazoria County Fair and a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Clayton married his wife, the love of his life, Eileen (Horacefield) on July 28, 1979.
He is survived by Eileen; three sons Michael (Tammy) of Jonestown, Hub (Margaret) of Leander and Jeffery (Kim) of Lake Jackson; and sister, Billie Hunt Wiley (Bennie) of Boerne. Clayton is also survived by a niece, Debra Wiley Mize (Charles) of Boerne, and two nephews, Barry Wiley (Christie) of South Fork, Colo., and K. Brent Wiley (Jennifer) of San Marcos, all of whom he considered to be like his own children.
Clayton was blessed with nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life!
He was preceded in death by his parents and son Steven.
A memorial service is 11 a.m. Sept. 8 Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Intensive Care Unit at Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock.
