MARBLE FALLS — The driver of a semi-truck was transported to an area hospital but had minor injuries after rolling his truck Aug. 22. Marble Falls Fire Rescue Fire Chief Johnny Caraway said the driver was going too fast as he was driving northbound on U.S. 281 and taking the westbound Texas 71 exit.
The rollover, which occurred around 3:30 p.m., closed the exit for several hours forcing drivers taking that particular exit to find an alternate route.
A non-hazardous liquid in the tank needed to be moved to another truck before a wrecker could overturn the truck and take it away.
No other vehicles were involved in the wreck.
