OBITUARY: Fredia George Arnold, 73, of Burnet dies Aug. 15, 2014
Fredia George Arnold, 73, passed away Aug. 15, 2014, in Burnet, Texas.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Aug. 18 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222. A funeral service is 2 p.m. Aug. 19 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Post Mountain Cemetery.
Fredia was born Aug. 9, 1941, in Donie, Texas, to Odell and Jewell George. She was a member of Lake Country Church of Christ and graduated from St. Edward’s University with a master’s degree in social work.
Fredia was preceded in death by her parents; son, Clay Arnold Jr.; sisters Zudell, Rae, Eunice and Tola; and four brothers Billy, Bobby, Johnnie and Travis.
She is survived by her husband, Clayton Arnold of Burnet; daughters, Shari Jones and husband Darrell of Waco, Sheila Stewart and Shelly Arnold, both of Pflugerville, and Sharon Pentilla and husband Jerry of Naperville, Ill.; daughter-in-law, April Roberts and husband John of Burnet; nine grandchildren, Adrienne, Ashley, Randall, Hayley, Kylah, Alyssa, HarLynn, Clayton and Raina; four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Jaden, Jackson and Abigail; and a multitude of nieces and nephews. She also is survived by sisters Lois Monk and husband Chris of Garland and Rita Jo Black and husband Argie of Teague; brother Holton George and wife Reta of Marble Falls; sister-in-law Berle George of Teague; and brother-in-law Jack Orbison of Jacksonville.
