OBITUARY: Hubert L. Tupper Jr., 71, of Marble Falls dies July 2, 2014

Hubert L. “Hugh” Tupper Jr., 71, of Marble Falls passed away July 2, 2014. He was born Aug. 21, 1942, in Detroit to Hubert Lawrence Tupper Sr. and Dawsie Tupper.
Hugh served in the Navy Seebees from 1960 to 1964. He was a life member of the NRA, the VFW, the Military Order of the Purple Heart, the American Legion, the Blazing Star Masonic Lodge No. 413, the Austin Scottish Rite and the Kingsland Eastern Star No. 1118 and a member of First Baptist Church in Marble Falls.
Hugh served as a peace officer in Burnet and Llano counties for 24 years.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Tupper of Marble Falls; sons, Paul Tupper and wife Stephanie of Marble Falls and James Tupper and wife Wendy of Lynnwood, Wash.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
A memorial service in honor of Hugh’s life will be announced at a later date.
