OBITUARY: Ruby Estelle Bracken Trussell, 99, of Marble Falls dies June 13, 2014

Ruby Estelle Bracken Trussell was born Jan. 16, 1915, in Deweyville, Texas, and went home to be with the Lord on June 13, 2014.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Trussell Bowles and husband Lesuell of Marble Falls; sons LeRoy Trussell and wife Sandra of Marble Falls and Bob Trussell and wife Mary of San Antonio; seven grandchildren Edwin Bowles, Gwen Messina, Darrell Bowles, Brandon Trussell, Ashli Clements, Seth Trussell and Elizabeth Trussell; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oran D. Trussell; son Jerry Trussell; and grandson Trey Trussell.
Ruby was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Marble Falls, where she had an active part in GAs, vacation Bible school and watching children in the nursery. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
For many years, Ruby worked with her husband O.D. with the bookkeeping and business of the Humble Gas Station he owned and operated and the many civic and community activities he was involved with while mayor of Marble Falls.
A funeral service was June 17 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373, with the Rev. Max Copeland officiating. Interment followed at Marble Falls City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Brandon Trussell, Darrell Bowles, Seth Trussell, Edwin Bowles, Tim Clements, Chad Bowles, T.A. Messina and Jeff Taylor.
