Marble Falls student-anglers compete at Lake Travis tourney

AUSTIN — Five teams from the Marble Falls high school fishing club competed at the Faith Angler Network tournament at Lake Austin on April 5.

The team of Colby Orton and Kam Wright were the highest-placing team representing Marble Falls, reeling in five fish that equaled 11.95 pounds.

RESULTS: Colby Orton and Kam Wright, 5 fish weighing 11.95 pounds; Dustan Oustad and Chris Hooten, 2 fish weighing 7.32 pounds; Keegan Stroud and Calvin Todd, 3 fish weighing 7.07 pounds; Jarrett Robertson and Chase Maddox, 4 fish weighing 6.53 pounds; Austin Pegues and Layton White, 1 fish weighing 1.25 pounds
