Special Olympics athletes show their mettle at Marble Falls competition

The Marble Falls Independent School District Special Olympics squad enters Mustang Stadium on April 4 for the 2014 Mustang Roundup Track and Field Meet. The event drew about 100 athletes from across Central Texas. The blustery wind didn’t down the spirit of the student-athletes as they competed throughout the day. The next major meet for the squad is the Central Texas Special Olympics Track and Field Meet on May 2-3 at Bible Stadium in Leander. Staff photos by Daniel Clifton
