‘Good Time Gospel Hour’ coming to KBEY

FROM STAFF REPORTS

MARBLE FALLS — Folks looking for a nice way to start their Sunday mornings only have to tune in to KBEY 103.9 FM Radio Picayune starting April 6 for the new “Good Time Gospel Hour.”

The show, hosted by local agriculture extension agent Wade Hibler, is 8-9 a.m.

“I’m a strong believer in the Christian faith, and this is one of the ways to put it out there to folks,” Hibler said.

The show will feature gospel music with a traditional country bent, but listeners can expect a great mix, including some traditional hymns performed by country artists of today and yesterday. Hibler said he has just started diving into the music catalogue to check out all the options.

“I’m looking forward to getting in there and getting this on the air,” he said.

The country gospel show will be produced in the KBEY studio. It will come right before “Rise Up Country” with John Ritter.

“I’ll be making comments and adding my own thoughts in between songs. I’ll throw in some prayers as well,” Hibler said. “I’m just going to do what comes natural to me. That’s just who I am. So everybody just tune in and listen. It’ll be fun.”
