The Burnet Association of Merchants will hold a sidewalk sale March 29 on the courthouse square in Burnet to benefit the LACare food pantry in Burnet. A rain date, if needed, is April 5. Participating businesses include Designer’s Market & Antique Store, the Burnet Resale Outlet, Picker’s Paradise and the Knot Hole Flea Market. Food and money donations may be dropped off at any participating merchant. BAM has also placed ‘Share Your Change’ canisters across the city for donations. LACare serves the Burnet school district area. In 2013, it helped 4,712 families consisting of 15,323 individuals.
