CEDAR PARK — The Marble Falls High School baseball team lost 4-0 to Cedar Park on March 13 in a District 25-4A game.

“I thought we really competed well,” Mustangs head coach J.T. Blair said. “It was a tough, well-played game. They were the better team.”

The Timberwolves scored two runs in the fourth and two in the sixth off 11 hits. Cedar Park left the bases loaded twice.

Meanwhile, the Mustangs (4-6-3 overall, 0-2 district) recorded three hits on the night off senior Blake Bouffard, a sidearm pitcher. Blair noted junior first baseman Chris Paddack made two diving plays that kept three Mustangs from scoring.

“We really hit him pretty hard,” Blair said. “We hit some balls right at them, and they made some diving plays in the infield. I was pleased at our approach at the plate. Our kids were patient and did a great job hitting the ball to the opposite field.”
