Marble Falls, Burnet, Llano golf teams compete at Junior Golf Association event

BURNET — High school golf teams from Burnet, Llano and Marble Falls recently competed at the Burnet Junior Golf Association Invitational.
The highest team placing among the three schools was the Lady Mustangs, who shot a two-round total of 355-381–736 that was good enough for second place.
They were led by Breanna Heinzke, who finished fourth with a total of 86-90–176.
Burnet golfer Lauren Beckwith led the Lady Dawgs with a 76-83–159, which placed her second in the individual standings. Burnet shot a team total of 378-410–788, while the Lady Jackets shot a 391-413–804.
On the boys’ side, Llano turned in a 332-329–661, while Marble Falls shot a 332-345–677.
