Burnet powerlifters compete at Brady Meet, qualify for regionals

BRADY — The Burnet High School powerlifting team competed at the Brady Meet on Feb. 13. The Bulldogs were second and the Lady Dawgs finished sixth.
Both divisions drew 14 teams.
In addition, four Lady Dawgs qualified for a regional meet March 1, which will be at Gatesville High School, 205 S. Lovers Lane. They are Brittney Barksdale, Keli Thomas, Desiree Vajgrt and Victoria Bell.
The Marble Falls Lady Mustangs were ninth overall, while the Mustangs placed 12th.
