HORSESHOE BAY — Marble Falls Middle School sixth-grader Macy Fox tied for seventh place at the Texas Junior Golf Tournament 2014 Tour Championship on Feb. 8-9 on the Apple Rock course.

She shot an 80 and a 74 for a total 154 and was one of five golfers with that result.

Fox’s score was good enough for second in the girls 11-14-year-old division.

“That’s Macy’s best finish against a field that strong,” said her father, Todd Fox.

Senior Maddy Rayner of Southlake won the tournament with a total of 144.
