Burnet school officials cancel after-school activities and postpone playoff game Feb. 11

BURNET — Burnet school officials are canceling or postponing all after-school activities scheduled for 5 p.m. or later Feb. 11 because of inclement weather.
This includes the Burnet High School girls playoff basketball game.
Along with the game, the Burnet Pre-Engineering Magnet Program informational meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Feb. 11 has been rescheduled for 6:30 p.m. Feb. 18 in the Burnet Consolidated Independent School District board room, 208 East Brier St.
There is a second informational meeting scheduled for Feb. 20 at 6:30 p.m., also in the board room. Go to www.bcisdmagnet.com for more information.
The ACE Program for Feb. 11 also has been canceled, and students in those activities will go home at the regular dismissal time.
The Lady Dawgs girls basketball game has been rescheduled for Feb. 12 at 6 p.m. in Hamilton.
The Feb. 11 boys basketball games also were rescheduled for Feb. 12 at the same previous times. All those games will be played in the high school gymnasium.
