Girls Night Out seeks sponsors for annual pajama party in Marble Falls

SPECIAL TO THE PICAYUNE

MARBLE FALLS — Girls Night Out is in need of local sponsors.

The annual pajama party for women raises money for the Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center and Open Door Recovery House and is 6-11 p.m. March 1 at Lakeside Pavilion, 307 Buena Vista.

“Flowers are Sunshine to the Soul” is the theme for this year’s fundraiser. Businesses and individuals may choose from different sponsorship levels, each with its own benefits, including admission tickets and advertising at the event.

Sponsorship levels include:

• Calla Lilly, $5,000

• Rose, $3,000

• Gardenia, $2,000

• Hydrangea, $1,000

• Peony, $500

• Daisy, $250

• Sweet Pea, $100

“Becoming a sponsor is a great way for a business or an individual to show support for the crisis center and Open Door that provide vital services to the area,” said Mandy McCary, Girls Night Out chairwoman. “Plus, it’s a great way to gain recognition.”

The event is for women 21 and older and features shopping, food, drinks and opportunities to be pampered. Last year, 100 women attended.

“This year, we are expecting a bigger turn out,” McCary said. “This year’s Girls Night Out will not disappoint.”

Email McCary at mknaron@hotmail.com for more information about sponsorships.

Tickets for the event are $50 each or $40 each for five or more and may be purchased at the Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce administrative office, 916 Second St., online at opendoorrecovery.net/special-events; or by contacting Barbara Dube at sunflowermk@nctv.com or (512) 755-6264.
