Fire in workshop threatens Marble Falls area home

Marble Falls Area Volunteer Firefighters douse a fire in a workshop/living quarters about 10 a.m. Jan. 15 that leapt onto an adjacent house, located in the 7700 block of RR 1431 east of Marble Falls. Crews saved the home, where fire crept through the attic. No injuries were reported and no one was inside at the time. The fire marshal is investigating the cause. Staff photo by Connie Swinney
