Kenneth Mahlon Aylor, 71, of Burnet, Texas, went to be with his Lord on Nov. 17, 2013. Ken was born Dec. 5, 1941, in Denver, Colo. He was the son of Charles and Odessa Aylor.

He graduated from East High School and briefly attended Colorado State University.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Karyn Aylor, and their daughter, Kourtney Kay Aylor; his daughters, Sandy Garden and Debbie Witman; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister Jan Aylor.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and sister Sharon Aylor.

Over the years, Ken was involved in real estate, but he was known for his many adventures and vivid stories. One of his greatest interests was hunting. In 2008, he was one of the founding members of Packsaddle Fellowship Church in Kingsland, Texas.

He believed Jesus died for our sins, and, upon putting your trust and faith in Him, you would have eternal life in heaven. God has welcomed him into his eternal home, and he is at peace with his Lord now.

“I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me.” John 14:6

A memorial service is 2 p.m. Dec. 22 at Packsaddle Fellowship.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association or to Packsaddle Fellowship (please designate “building fund”), 508 FM 2900, Kingsland, TX 78639.
