Burnet boys basketball begins season with one-point loss

JARRELL — The Burnet High School boys basketball team lost 54-53 to Jarrell on Nov. 19 to begin its season.
The teams finished the first quarter in an 11-11 tie. Burnet then took a 27-26 lead at the half. But by the end of the third period, Jarrell led 43-40.
ON OFFENSE: points – Bullock 13, Aguillon 10, Baumgart 9, Stevens 9, Parker 6, Pollard 4, Townes 3
SUBVARSITY RESULTS: Burnet junior varsity won 54-43; Burnet freshmen lost 31-14.
RECORDS: Burnet is 0-1.
