MARBLE FALLS — You know Christmas is coming when the Walkway of Lights illuminates Lake Marble Falls. For years, the annual Christmas light showcase has drawn folks from the area and afar to dazzle them with sculptures and displays with more than 2 million lights .

This year is no different.

The Walkway of Lights runs Nov. 22-Jan 1 along Lake Marble Falls. It’s open 6-10 p.m. each night. Santa Claus will set up shop on the weekends. Volunteers will greet people each night with a smile and a Highland Lakes welcome.

The annual Light-Up Parade is 6 p.m. Nov. 22 starting in Johnson Park, 230 Ave. J South. Parade participants can start lining up about 5 p.m. in the park.

Following the parade, revelers are invited to gather at the main gate of the Walkway of Lights at Lakeside Park, 307 Buena Vista Drive, for the official lighting of the display.
