Santa’s elves at the Helping Hands Craft Guild are burning the midnight oil preparing holiday gifts and decorations for the Bayside Bazaar on Nov. 9 that is raising money for The Helping Center in Marble Falls. The event is 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Quail Point Lodge, 107 Twilight in Horseshoe Bay. Guild members Pat Smith (left), Annette Christy, Judy Thompson, Debbie Engler, Marilyn Redmond, Lil Corrigan, Marsha Cathey, Dianne Snyder, Margaret Waugh and Hank Remack hold up a quilt made by Laura Jo Thompson for which visitors to the bazaar can purchase chances to win. The event also will feature vendors, a style show by Salem’s Fashions with wine and cheese, a soup and salad lunch, door prizes and a silent auction. Admission is a $10 donation.
