Marble Falls girls golf team begins season with top 10 finish at Cedar Park

CEDAR PARK — The Marble Falls High School girls golf team shot a team score of 373 for sixth place at the Cedar Park Invitational on Oct. 1 to begin the season.

“That was one stroke off last season’s best score,” head coach Lonnie Tackitt said. “The team competition shows how tough our district will be in the spring.”

Leander Vandegrift’s two squads each finished first and second, while Cedar Park took fourth place.
