FROM STAFF REPORTS

CEDAR PARK — The Marble Falls High School volleyball team lost to Cedar Park Vista Ridge 10-25, 17-25, 10-25 on Oct. 1.

Lady Mustangs head coach Julie Downs said her team was searching for consistency from the beginning. The team missed seven serves and recorded a kill percentage of less than 18 percent.

“The varsity game was laden with errors,” she said. “We did not consistently handle the offensive portion of our games. Passing was decent, but we did make several passing errors at very critical times of the games, truly affecting our momentum and the outcome of the game.”
