OBITUARY: Shirley Ann Hatfield, 76, of Llano dies Sept. 20, 2013

Shirley Ann Hatfield passed away Sept. 20, 2013, at the age of 76. She was born May 8, 1937, in Clarksdale, Ill., to Harry Clinton and Bernita (Moses) Brown.
Shirley married Willard Hatfield on May 7, 1996, in Llano. She had been a resident of Llano for 16 years, moving there from Cedar Park.
Shirley was a people person, loved to cook, enjoyed gardening and embroidering and was very active in First Baptist Church in Llano. She was a nurse’s aide for Llano Memorial Hospital for many years.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Willard Hatfield of Llano; sons, Harry and wife Judy Spinner of Liberty Hill, Mike and wife Angie Spinner of Georgetown and David Joseph Spinner of Florida; daughters, Deborah and husband Jeff Eby of Dallas and Cynthia and husband L.C. Tubb of Fort Worth; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Sept. 23 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300. A funeral service is 11 a.m. Sept. 24 at First Baptist Church in Llano with the Rev. Rick Cundieff officiating. Burial will follow at Llano City Cemetery.
