MARBLE FALLS — The Marble Falls High School tennis team began the District 25-4A team tennis competition with a 3-10 loss to Leander Rouse on Sept. 6.

Marble Falls (0-1) picked up wins in girls doubles by Madison Dyer and Hanna Dockery and AnneClaire McCannon and Savannah Vincent and in girls singles thanks to Dyer.

“The Rouse boys were very strong, and we lost a few close matches with girls singles and doubles,” Mustangs head coach Jeff Savage said.

Marble Falls will be at Leander High School, 3301 S. Bagdad Road in Leander, at 4 p.m. Sept. 17.
