Marble Falls girls win Concordia High School Invitation; boys are 4th

AUSTIN — The Marble Falls High School cross-country team began the season with a first-place finish.
That came in the varsity girls division of the Concordia High School Invitational on Aug. 23, which drew 10 teams. The junior varsity was third out of 11 teams in a division with 129 runners.
The varsity boys were fourth overall out of 12 teams with 82 runners competing, and the junior varsity boys were sixth out of nine teams with 161 runners in the division.
The meet drew 15 teams, and all divisions ran 3,200-meter races.
RESULTS: Varsity boys (82 runners) — 2, Jordan Wright, 10:24.24; 17, Cody Skipper, 11:27.78; 18, Christian Marroqin, 11:32.12; 25, D’Anthony Wall, 11:48.80; 35, Colten Hagood, 12:10.
