Marilyn Schulte, 69, of Spring, Texas, passed away Aug. 17, 2013. A daughter of Alvin J. and Ethel (Devine) McNabb, she was born Oct. 18, 1943, in Bishop, Texas.

Marilyn was a bookkeeper by vocation, and, in her spare time, she enjoyed her family, painting and needlepoint. She was a Baptist by faith.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Wendy Page of Spring; son, Gary (Julie) Schulte of The Woodlands; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and brother Fred Kays of Cross Lanes, W. Va.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nancy J. Fenner; brothers Billy J. Kays, James Kays and Alvin J. McNabb Jr.; and aunt Louise Henneke.

A celebration of Marilyn’s life is 3 p.m. Aug. 23 at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road in Conroe. A graveside service is 10 a.m. Aug. 26 at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, 4644 Park Road 4 South in Burnet, with the Rev. Bubba Stahl officiating.
