Marble Falls ISD holds Breakfast Buddies event for teachers

Marble Falls ISD officials and the Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce hosted the Breakfast Buddies event Aug. 13. City and business leaders welcomed new staff with meet-and-greet sessions, prizes and a scavenger hunt. About 70 new teachers and para-professionals joined the district for the 2013-2014 school year. The first day of school is Aug. 26.

Marble Falls High School agriculture/welding teacher Vinnie Heller and his wife, Marble Falls High School softball Coach Chelsea Heller, are among about 70 new hires at MFISD. The high school’s Fish Camp, to welcome incoming freshman, is 6:30-8 p.m. Aug. 22 at the high school.
