FROM STAFF REPORTS
MARBLE FALLS — Parents of returning students can get a jump on the new school year with online registration for Marble Falls Independent School District.
MFISD officials announced online registration begins Aug. 1 for returning students only. The process can be completed at the district’s new website, www.mfisd.txed.net. Officials said since the district has revamped its website, people should type the new address into their browser because existing search links have not “caught up” to the new site.
Computer labs will be open on each campus to allow parents who don’t have access to Internet at home to complete online registration. Assistance also will be available.
If an individual has forgotten his or her password, the person can click on the “I forgot my password” link to have it emailed.
The campus registrar also can provide the password.
New student registration begins later in August and must be done in person at the campuses.
Marble Falls Middle School, Falls Career High School and all the elementary schools will hold new student registration 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-3:30 p.m. Aug. 12-16 at the respective campuses.
New student registration for Marble Falls High School is 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 12-16.
Incoming high school freshmen should plan to attend Fish Camp on Aug. 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the high school auditorium, 2101 Mustang Drive.
