National Night Out returns to the Highland Lakes next week

National Night Out is next week, connecting communities nationwide to the law enforcement agencies that serve them through food, fun, and more. Several Highland Lakes cities are joining the celebration.

Residents of Marble Falls, Burnet, Granite Shoals, Horseshoe Bay, and Llano are invited to mingle with officers during each city’s rendition of the annual event, all kicking off at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

National Night Out in Marble Falls

Thunder Rock, 293 Rock Springs Drive

6-8 p.m. Oct. 6

Join the Marble Falls Police Department on Tuesday evening for free food, games, and activities. Also, get to know local first responders and tour emergency service units.

National Night Out in Burnet

Main Street near the Burnet Historic Square

6-8 p.m. Oct. 6

Meet the faces behind the Burnet police and fire departments while enjoying family-friendly activities, playing games, and snacking on free snow cones, popcorn, hot dogs, and refreshments.

National Night Out in Granite Shoals

Quarry Park Pavillion, 2221 N. Phillips Ranch Road

6-8 p.m. Oct. 6

Come say hi to the first responders of the Granite Shoals police and fire departments while mingling with neighbors and munching on free hot dogs at Quarry Park.

National Night Out in Horseshoe Bay

Quail Point Lodge, 107 Twilight Lane

6-8 p.m. Oct. 6

Stop by the Quail Point Lodge and join the Horseshoe Bay police and fire departments as they grill free hotdogs, host games for kids, and chat with residents.

National Night Out in Llano

Badu Park, 300 Legion Drive

6-8 p.m. Oct. 6

Grab your swimsuit and get ready to get bubbly. Join the Llano police and volunteer fire departments for a glow in the dark foam party, face painting, live music, free eats and treats, and a special appearance from everybody’s favorite fire-safety bear, Smokey Bear.
