OBITUARY: Harold Wayne Pearce, 74, of Dayton dies June 19, 2013
Harold Wayne Pearce, 74, of Dayton, Texas, passed away June 19, 2013, in Liberty Hill. He was born March 30, 1939, in Brown County to Lee Boyd Pearce and Ellie Lee Taylor.
He was married to Dorothy Pearce for 35 years. She preceded him death in 2009.
He was the owner/operator of The Pearce Trucking Co. of Dayton.
He is survived by his daughter, Gay Catron and companion James Simmons of Menard; son, Shannon Catron and companion Lacey Mook of Liberty Hill; stepchildren Gail and Dan Love of Marshall, Larry and Linda Skaggs of Vinson, Okla., Barry and Donna Gill of Longview, Dennis and Cindy Guettler of Dayton and Windy Savering of Tyler; sister, Bonita Light of Big Spring; granddaughter, Amy Catron; step-grandchildren, Krista Lyn Mook, Lea Mook, Heather Olson, Chris and Melinda Love, Greg and Shelley Love, Brian and Caroline Ford, Kalinda Brown, Reggie Dale Hendry, Whitney and Chase Aldestead, Bobby Don Fuller, Kyle and Kacy Guettler, Austin Savering and April and Bryan Davenport; numerous great-grandchildren; and nephews, Lee Boyd and Eugene Alexander.
A memorial service is 1 p.m. June 29 at his residence in Dayton.
