OBITUARY: Lindsey Ball Henderson, 31, of Buchanan Dam dies June 13, 2013

Lindsey Ball Henderson, 31, of Buchanan Dam, Texas, passed away June 13, 2013. She was born to Carter A. and Kim (Kanaly) Ball in Laramie, Wyo., on June 22, 1981.

After high school graduation, Lindsey attended Southwest Texas State University. She later received her real estate agent license. She worked as a property manager and at her dad’s firearms business as an office manager.

Lindsey adored her son, Jackson, and loved being a mom. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and being with family and friends. She will be missed so much.

Lindsey was proud of her brother, Carter, who is a Texas game warden, and her husband, Jack, who is a volunteer firefighter in Buchanan Dam.

She recently had ear surgery to enable her to hear simple sounds, that we all take for granted, for the first time. She was still recovering, working through bouts of vertigo.

She is survived by her parents, Carter A. and Kim Ball of Buchanan Dam; son, Jackson Henderson, and husband, Jack Henderson, of Buchanan Dam; brother Carter A. Ball III and nephew Cash Ball of Buchanan Dam and  Midland; maternal grandmother, Maisie Kanaly of Neptune Beach, Fla.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews in several states.

Lindsey was preceded in death by her brother Brandon Ball in 2002.

Visitation is 8-10 a.m. June 18 at Putnam Funeral Home, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008. A funeral service follows at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Bluffton Cemetery in Bluffton.
