MARBLE FALLS — Eight of the nine starters on the Marble Falls High School softball team were chosen to be members of the All-District 25-4A teams. And one was chosen for an individual award.

Junior catcher and pitcher Amanda Thomas was named the district’s co-defensive player of the year by coaches of District 25-4A.

Lady Mustangs head coach Tino Salazar wasn’t allowed to vote for his own players.

CO-DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Amanda Thomas

FIRST TEAM: Tyler Oppenheim, Catie Whitecotton, Hailey Wooten

SECOND TEAM: Abby Henry, Makenzie Carpenter

HONORABLE MENTION: Skylar Riley, Hayley Fishbeck
