Drought, high winds bring down trees at Johnson Park in Marble Falls
PHOTO 1: A large, old pecan tree in Johnson Park fell over May 25. Crew members with the Marble Falls Parks and Recreation Department worked May 28 to cut the tree (and another not shown) into small enough pieces to be carried away. Parks and Recreation officials cited stress from the ongoing drought and high winds as factors for the fallen trees. Staff photos by Jared Fields
