Driver suffers minor injuries when 18-wheeler rolls over on RR 1855 in Marble Falls

A 42-year-old man suffered minor injuries after the 18-wheeler he was driving left the roadway on RR 1855 in Marble Falls and rolled over. The truck, registered to Jag Construction of Georgetown, was approaching U.S. 281 about 8:30 a.m. May 20 when the accident occurred. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the 18-wheeler, which was eastbound, reached a curve, slid down into a ravine and rolled over. No one else was injured, and intermittent delays were expected much of the morning as the scene was cleared. The investigation is continuing. Staff photo by Connie Swinney
