OBITUARY: Clive ‘Butch’ Stovall Jr., 65, of Llano dies May 7, 2013
Clive “Butch” Stovall Jr., 65, a lifetime resident of Llano, Texas, passed away May 7, 2013. He was born Dec. 19, 1947, in Fredericksburg, Texas, to Alberta (Polk) and Clive Omer Stovall Sr.
He married Carol Smarr Justis on Sept. 16, 2000, in Sedona, Ariz. Butch was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local No. 953, and he loved to work in the yard.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Stovall of Llano; son, Tommy Ray and partner Mark Sterling of Sedona, Ariz.; daughter, Nicki Justis Ince of Llano; brother, Larry Stovall of Llano; and one grandchild, Trevor Sterling Stovall.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Visitation is 6-7 p.m. May 10 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300. A graveside service is 3 p.m. May 11 at Llano City Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life at the American Legion after the service.
