KBEY Wake Up Show going ‘Broadway’ with Hill Country Community Theatre Guild

MARBLE FALLS — KBEY 103.9 FM Radio Picayune Wake Up Show co-hosts Ed Chandler and Kay Baker give the May 1 show a little Broadway bent as they welcome representatives of the Hill Country Community Theatre Guild.
Kay Herring and Melissa Rowe of the guild will be discussing the guild’s May 8 production, “From Broadway with Love.” It’s a one-night-only event starting at 6:30 p.m. to benefit the community theater, 4003 FM 2147 in Cottonwood Shores.
Herring and her friends will talk about the guild, the theater and this special event.
The production, directed by GiGi Fischer, features the voices of Robert L. Schneider and Diana Linder. Tickets are $50 for the performance.
The guild is also putting up a little bling as well. There is a prize giveaway for a chance to take home a pair of diamond cluster earrings.
