OBITUARY: Andrew Martin Potter, 49, of Burnet dies April 15, 2013
Andrew Martin Potter, 49, of Burnet, Texas, passed away at the home of his parents, Richard and Ruby Potter in Burnet. He was born Oct. 6, 1963, at Nix Memorial Hospital in San Antonio.
He is survived by his parents; brothers Arthur Wayne Potter and wife Vicki of Benicia, Calif., and Alan Ray Potter and wife Patricia of Burnet; niece LaDonna Kelly and husband James of Topeka, Kan.; and nephews Stephen Potter of Topeka, Kan., and Corey Ray Potter of Savannah, Ga. He is also survived by uncles Henry Potter and wife Ann of San Antonio and Fred Horn and wife Regina of Fort Worth; aunts Catherine Williams of Greenville and Lu Dell Johnson of Lawrence, Kan.; and many cousins.
Andrew graduated from John Jay High school in San Antonio in 1982. He later worked as a cook and a chef at snack bars and country clubs. Andrew was later involved in various aspects of the professional music business for more than 18 years, including with Bearback Productions/M.O.J.O. Staging and Productions, as the owner of AMP Productions and with staging for FILO in Austin. He has many precious friends in San Antonio, Austin and elsewhere.
Andrew’s memorial service is 1 p.m. April 27 at Eastlake Fellowship Church, 13218 RR 2341 in Burnet. Lunch will be served after the memorial.
