OBITUARY: Shirley Ann Whitworth, 59, of Burnet dies April 12, 2013

Shirley Ann Whitworth, 59, of Burnet, Texas, passed away April 12, 2013. She was born in San Antonio on Jan. 1, 1954.

Shirley was the daughter of Royce and Rosie Tenney of San Antonio. She was employed at Burnet Consolidated Independent School District for the past 12 years, and she loved working with the staff and kids at Quest High School.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to the lake, music and dancing. She was a loving and care-free person. She lived her short 59 years to the very fullest.

Shirley was a devoted wife, mother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her sister Laurie Tenney. Her survivors include her husband, Curt Whitworth of Burnet; sons Jason and Sandy Whitworth, Jarret and Erica Whitworth and Jordan Whitworth, all of Burnet. Shirley’s grandchildren include Colton Chaney, Erin Chaney, Trakker Whitworth and Brendan Whitworth, all of Burnet. She is also survived by her two brothers and two sisters, Royce Tenney, Susie Hunter, Linda Luna and Kevin Tenney; and many nieces and nephews.
