David Lee King, 52, passed away March 28, 2013. He was born in South Haven, Mich., on July 24, 1960, the son of Franklin and Clara King.
He was a machinist most of his life. David liked to fish, hunt, spend time with his good friends and barbecue. He loved the outdoors, camping and NASCAR racing.
He is survived by his wife, Leslye King of Burnet; sisters, Debra Jean King of Alabama and Cindy Lynn King Fine of Alabama; close friend, Terry Stamey of Burnet; sister-in-law Brenda Hulgan and husband Harold of Houston; brother-in-law Elliot Gillbreath and wife Mary of Houston; aunt Peggy Cloud Semora of Houston; cousins Kelley Semora and wife Jennifer of Houston and Keith Semora and wife Samantha and their son Cody of Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service is noon April 1 at Central Texas State Cemetery in Killeen.
