Allison Gail Swenson went to be with the Angels in Heaven on Saturday, March 23, 2013. She was born March 23, 2013, to Bryan and Michele Swenson in San Antonio. Her short precious time was spent with the overwhelming love of her proud parents, grandparents and many family members.

Our precious Angel, Ally, touched the lives of many. Although we did not experience the joy of hearing her sweet voice, we felt the soft touch of her soul and grace she brought to this world. It gives us comfort knowing she is painting the Skies of Heaven with her beautiful Grandma Polly.

Survivors include her parents, Bryan and Michele Swenson of San Antonio; maternal grandparent, George F. Gold Jr. of Mullins Prairie, Texas; and paternal grandparents, Robert and Linda Swenson of Bluffton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Paula (Polly) Gail Gold.

Visitation is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. March 30 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home in Llano, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300. A graveside service is 2 p.m. March 30 at Bluffton Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Lyle officiating.

In lieu of flowers, Michele and Bryan ask that donations be made to:

“Threads of Love San Antonio” – Which is a nonprofit, non-denominational ministry dedicated to the production and distribution of clothing and care items to the premature babies – living and deceased – serviced by the San Antonio hospitals and care centers. Donations may be made via its website or by mailing a gift to: Threads of Love San Antonio; 5926 Valparaiso Way; San Antonio, TX 78249.

Or: “Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep” – Which is a nonprofit organization of professional photographers providing a free gift of remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of their baby. These professionals donate their time, costs and expertise to provide beautiful heirloom portraits to parents facing the untimely death of their infant.  Donations may be made through its website or by mail to: NILMDTS, 2305 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, CO 80122.
