Marble Falls girls soccer squad loses 4-0 to Vista Ridge
FROM STAFF REPORTS
MARBLE FALLS — A one-goal deficit turned to a 4-0 loss for the Marble Falls High School girls soccer team against Cedar Park Vista Ridge on Feb. 19.
“During the second half, we stopped stepping up and closing the shooters,” Lady Mustangs head coach Trey Young said.
Opponents have been scoring in a mixture of ways, so it’s hard to pinpoint exactly where the defensive breakdowns are occurring, he added.
But two things need to change, he said.
“We can’t continue to spot teams goals,” the coach said. “We need to find some offense. Some of our forwards have to step up and score.”
