Cedar Park is too much for Lady Mustangs soccer squad
MARBLE FALLS — A 1-0 halftime deficit turned into a 5-0 loss for the Marble Falls High School girls soccer team against Cedar Park on Feb. 12.
The Lady Timberwolves added four goals with about nine minutes left in the game.
“We have got to put together some offense,” Marble Falls head coach Trey Young said. “We need to learn to transfer from defense to offense.”
The Lady Mustangs learned some new things Feb. 11, and Young was happy to see the players execute them in the game.
But they’re not completing plays resulting in goals, he said.
“We need to find someone to go score for us,” he said.
RECORDS: Marble Falls is 7-5-1 overall and 0-2 in District 51-4A.
