OBITUARY: Patricia Chesson, 72, formerly of Horseshoe Bay was ‘caring and fun lady’

Patricia Ann Chesson passed away peacefully, but unexpectedly, Feb. 7, 2013. Born Feb. 14, 1940, in Enid, Okla., she was the only child of Myrtle Marie (Schroeder) and Fabian Wasemiller.
A longtime Horseshoe Bay resident, she had recently moved to Tacoma, Wash., to be near her only son and his family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, Roger. She is survived by son, Brad; daughter-in-law, Doree; beloved grandsons, Alec, Travis and Wyatt; aunts Georgia and Ruby; and many dear and close friends in the Highland Lakes.
Pat enjoyed good friends, good times, fun activity and her jewelry. She dearly enjoyed getting her hair done and “running her traps,” as Roger used to say. She loved being an Air Force wife during his career and never forgot their tours in Okinawa, Japan, where she worked at the Officers Wives Club gift shop, cultivating her love for fine items.
She will be remembered by her new Tacoma and old Marble Falls friends as a warm, caring and fun lady and will be greatly missed by friends and family alike. “A mother’s love is not forgotten.”
A funeral service is 2 p.m. Feb. 19 at The Church at Horseshoe Bay with the Rev. Johnny White officiating.
Donations to the Air Force Aid Society in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
Arrangements by Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373. Condolences may be offered at www.clementswilcoxfuneralhome.com.
