Turnovers hurt Marble Falls boys in loss to Vista Ridge
MARBLE FALLS — Five turnovers in five minutes by the Marble Falls High School boys basketball team helped Cedar Park Vista Ridge take a 58-41 victory Feb. 5.
The Mustangs’ turnovers allowed the Rangers to build a 27-14 halftime lead.
“You have to figure out a way to stop the bleeding,” Marble Falls head coach Neil Laminack said. “We have to fix it on the run.”
Marble Falls kept making the same errors, he said, such as dribbling into traps.
“We have to change our input to get a different result,” Laminack said. “We have to be very stubborn as a team in that respect.”
